Tyler Ware was a lucky find for Muse. While he maybe a great customer, Tyler grabbed our attention with his style and styling of local fashion shows. His quiet and chill demeanor can be off putting when he breaks out with an outfit that's off the charts killing it. He's one of the most (if not the most) professional stylists we've worked with and by far one of the most talented. So, that being said, we had to put him to the test. We asked him to not only be our next Monthly Muse but to take over our e-commerce website. And that he did.

Bring his own models (good Lord, not for the weak of heart scroll down to see why) AND makeup artist, Tyler pulled and dressed all ten models in an hour. In this blog post you'll see his personal style and some of the looks that are now up and shop-able on the website.

Tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from? Where are you going?

My name is Tyler Ware. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I grew up living with my mom and grandparents in the Central West End. Family is the most important thing to me and everything I do is for them. I am currently in my junior year at the University of Missouri studying Textile & Apparel Management with an emphasis in Product Development and an entrepreneurship minor. After graduation, I hope to move straight to LA and begin my career as a celebrity wardrobe stylist.

How’d you get into fashion?

From the time my mom brought me home from the hospital throughout my childhood, every Saturday my mom would take me shopping with her. Some Saturdays we would go to the mall, some we would go to shops in Clayton, and others we would go to Sears-Roebuck or Famous Barr—this was so long ago so a lot of these stores don’t even exist anymore. But I learned quickly that I loved clothes and I loved the response I got when I had on a nice outfit even more. I never thought of pursuing a career in fashion until my sophomore year of high school when Kanye West came out with his short film Runaway. I can still remember the day it came out on MTV. The film inspired me to be true to myself. It helped me realize that everyone may not always understand you, or your ideas, or goals, but that should never stop you from pursuing your dreams. Runaway was the first time that I saw something on TV that matched my aesthetic, Ibecame so inspired; and in true Kanye fashion, I immediately began researching and learning all that I could about designers, trends, fashion publications, anything I could get my hands on.

Where do you hope to be in 5 years? Job, location?

In 5 years, I plan to be primarily based in LA, have an apartment in SOHO for when I go to New York for work and have a ton of stamps in passport. Hopefully my days will be filled with styling magazine covers, touring with artists and styling them for their tours, and having random lunch dates with Kim Kardashian-West. But in reality, I just hope to be financially stable, doing what I love to do—style.

Tell us about your personal style?

If Olivier Rousteing, Kanye West, Pharrell, and Rihanna had a baby, it would result in my personal style. They are all my biggest fashion inspirations and play a big part in my personal style. I love how Olivier is so sleek and he shows how less is more, Kanye shows me how to create your signature look and stick to it, I love how Pharrell is so abstract and you never now what to expect from him, and Rihanna inspires me to dress how I feel.

Where’d you get your style from?

My style really comes from within. It’s like I literally see images in my head, almost like visions of outfits, or ways to accessorize, or a look that I want to go for.

How’d you find Muse? Why do you think you and Muse work together so well?

Freshman year, I walked in a fashion show at Muse. The first time I ever stepped foot in Muse was the day of the fashion show. I loved the set up of the store and it just had this amazing vibe that’s so hard to explain. Muse and I work so well together because Muse is so multifaceted. There’s something for everybody. So many styles are represented, which places Muse steps above a lot of other boutiques I’ve been in.

What do you have coming up for us to look forward too?

I’m creative directing the MODELpink Fashion Show on October 16, 2015 at the Holiday Inn here in Columbia. The event is a fundraiser to benefit the fight against breast cancer.

What do you do in your down time?

I love, love, love magazines. Sitting down and reading Vogue or GQ with a glass of wine is probably my favorite thing to do.

Any tattoos? Piercings?

I have a couple of tattoos, but they’re those dumb tattoos you get when you first turn 18 and are trying to be rebellious.

What’s your favorite purchase from Muse?

My favorite purchase has to be the sunglasses I bought from Muse. They give me Dior vibes, but literally were only $10.

Whats your muse? What inspires you?

My muses have to be my friends. I have the best friends in the world. They push me to always try my hardest, and sometimes they believe in my talent more than I do.

Any final thoughts?

I could just use everyone’s support on my upcoming event, the MODELpink Fashion Show, and stay tuned to my social media for what’s next for #STYLERWARE
